First post, first post, first post.... Honestly, I'm not making any promises that it won't be the last post as well! Mostly, I'm thinking that a blog is something that's useful to have when you have something to say - or at least something more significant than might go in a Facebook post or a Tweet.
So, who is this strange, not-masked man? I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, really. My day job is doing stuff with computers - programming stuff, generally, all the way across the board from Web Applications to massive, integrated enterprise systems. In my spare time, I've tried all sorts of things from art to writing to music. Often involving still more programming. I am a fan of many things, from Doctor Who to Jane Austen, a roleplayer, sometime computer gamer, voracious reader, brony and all round nerd.
I am at least ten years older than most people assume I am - I'll leave it up to the audience to derive my actual age for themselves.
I have no idea what, if anything I will end up writing here - I flit between interests a lot: a lot of my character can be summarised as "Ooh, shiny!"
